PROPELLER FAN BLADES
Amarillo high efficiency aluminum and
solid fiberglass fans achieve maximum velocity to thrust ratio, which
produces the most possible air volume, with minimal power loss,
providing maximum reach and frost coverage. Today, tests show our fans
still rank as the finest available.
Fans are balanced in both length and
width to eliminate vibration and provide a long life.
TOWERS
The towers are constructed of 1/4" thick
steel with diameters of 20 and 24 inches. Standard tower heights are
34-foot and 40-foot. Our 1/2" thick by 4 foot tall gussets coupled with
our 1410 series balanced drive lines allow for minimal vibration in the
transmission of power through the tower.
ENGINE
PACKAGES
Amarillo Wind Machine Company offers
multiple choices of rugged gasoline, propane or natural gas industrial
engines to suit any individual requirement. Four- and six-cylinder
turbo-charged diesel engines are also available to meet the power
requirements of any wind machine.
All engines are equipped with a Murphy
automatic safety shutdown system that monitors engine RPM, temperature
and oil pressure.
Engines are mounted on a rigid 4"
galvanized frame and are complete with a steel tilt hood painted with a
durable urethane paint for long term protection.
Standard Engine Packages: Ford,
Chevrolet, Cummins or John Deere. Other engine packages are available
upon request.
AUTO START OPTION
This
system automatically starts and stops the engine with the use of a
remote temperature probe. It will also shut the engine down for a
malfunction. Operation of the fan drive train is with a centrifugal
clutch for smooth transmission of power.
